World Famous Black Entrepreneurs Of Our Century

By Ade Shokoya

Charity and business achievements by black entrepreneurs have made them rich and famous. Barack Obama is probably the most well-known African-American person right now, not only in the U.S.A. but worldwide. He's a combination of well-known innovator with a keen intellect and prosperous, thriving corporate executive. His main achievement is becoming the first black president of the United States.

Millions of people are expecting him to do more for them, which will be his biggest achievement. Becoming the first African American President of the greatest nation in the world, Barak Obama accepted a giant responsibility for the world.

The only thing that he is going to do is peacefully talk to the terrorists and have them stopping the bombing. And I do believe that he will bring change to this country. We need something to help the economy.

There are some great entrepreneurs in this country that have done very well for themselves. And they have done a great job for the community they live in. Some have even given back like they said they would. Russell Simmons is renowned for his musical accomplishments, as well as community involvement and philanthropy. His entire life was spent battling poverty, providing assistance to those in need as well as opportunities for greater earnings for impoverished families. The United States is populated with many minority races whom he fights for diligently with integrity and grace.

Yet another renowned black entrepreneur from the field of entertainment and media is a female who is familiar to people worldwide as well. Oprah Winfrey is a name known all over the globe. She has amassed money in the multiples of millions and gives millions back to worthwhile causes close to her heart. Oprah has one of the largest media empires in the world that gives hope to millions and jobs to thousands. - 16755
