How To Choose A Suit Design

By Clement Sancharo

Diversity in suits comes in the form of different styles, materials, colors, shapes, and designs. This diversity makes the suit a perfect garment for people of all ages, religions, races, and even sexual orientations.

I wrote this article to help men get a better handle on some of the different designs used in the creation of suits. The following paragraphs will give you a general understanding of what each design looks like.

Solid suits without any patterns at all tend to be the most prevalent on the market. These suits are one color and can be worn with the largest array of accompaniments. Use this suit as your primary work suit and you will not go wrong.

Striped suits tend to be second in the high demand designs of the suit market. These suits have vertical lines running down them in various thicknesses. Slip on this suit to illustrate your power and authority.

The windowpane design is created by running both horizontal and vertical lines on the jacket and trouser to make square or rectangular patterns throughout the suit. Wear this suit in less formal situations that call for a little more style.

V shaped designs can be used to create herringbone patterns on wool suits. This suit is more stylish than stripe and solid suits but no less formal. Slip on this suit during winter months and you will not go wrong.

The check patterned suit is created using closed patterned windowpane designs. This suit can be tricky to wear, but gratifying as well. Put on this suit before attending a party requiring a suit or some other less formal situation.
