I have made a sampling of the movies released this year (2008). I have chosen a few of the motion pictures that I think you might like. I'm sure that you can find a picture or two that you will enjoy.
ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott), a couple of energy drink sales people, might be seeing some hard jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The option to get out of being locked up is by doing community service. Their task will be to work as mentors with difficult children as sort of a big brother. Let the fun begin.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Complete stoner Dale in a stroke of bad luck, has seen a bad police officer, and a powerful drug dealer, murder someone. He was spotted, and they know he has seen the murder. Realizing this, he unwittingly throws down his joint, a unique version called pineapple express, and runs. This joint is such a unique type of weed, that the bad guys can track it. The game is on, Dale and his pot dealer friend Saul are on the run.
HAMLET 2: Dana Marshz, formerly a small time actor, now finds himself teaching high school theatre to uninterested students. When the high school loses a major building, the school board figures the after curriculum will be what is dropped. Now fully motivated, he sets out to keep the school from dropping his classes by producing Hamlet 2, a new version of the classic, which he put to paper himself.
THE DARK KNIGHT: Batman, along with Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, are on a mission to clean up Gotham City. This has effectively reduced crime, but now a new super criminal arrives on the scene, and starts a crime spree. Batman has his work cut out him now, as criminal mastermind, the Joker, has released an overwhelming assault on Gotham City.
WANTED: Wesley Gibson is about to learn that his long lost father is a professional killer. His father is killed, and now he is being recruited into the group of assassins that his dead father was involved with. He is asked to become the professional killer that that he was destined to become. After that, everything becomes extremely complicated. Hang on to your seat.
STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who each live with their single parents, find themselves having to live in the same bedroom because their parents have wed, we see that they are bound to have problems. Casting John Reilly and Will Ferrell playing the parts, and this has the makings for a very fun film. This seems like a sure thing for a good time this year.
MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As the title suggests, this the sequel to the animated smash hit Madagascar. Our cast of lost animals, Alex (Lion), Marty (Zebra), Gloria (Hippo), and Melman (Giraffe) are trying to head home to New York's famous Central Park Zoo, which is the only home they know. With things going wrong again, with the Penguins leading them astray, they find themselves going to Africa, for more adventures.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This feature film tells a story about Scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has been transformed into the Hulk. This movie tells of the marvel comic character the green Hulk. Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, all have roles in this film. This film is directed by Louis Leterrier. This movie would be classified as a science fiction film.
BOLT: Bolt: This film is an animated family comedy. Bolt is a dog actor, who in his TV show, is a super hero dog. The thing about Bolt is that he is convinced he has these powers. When, by chance, he is finds himself in a real world situation, he discovers that he is just a dog. Now, trying to get back home, he is helped by Rhino and Mittens, his newly found hamster and cat friends.
